Our internship requires 70 hours onsite and then biweekly 1 1/2 hour class times. The class time is spent dealing with issues that come up on site, reading and discussing empirical research relevant to the sites the students are placed at, ethics training, etc. Students keep a journal and write a midterm and final paper concerning their experiences. The papers are typically 3-5 pages in length.
