INSTRUCTOR OF PSYCHOLOGY

The Department of Psychology at the University of South Carolina Aiken invites 
applications for a nine-month replacement position to begin August 16, 2008. 

A Ph.D. in general-experimental psychology is preferred by the time of 
appointment. Responsibilities include teaching introductory psychology, 
research methods, and other courses depending on area of specialization. 

USC Aiken is a senior institution of the University of South Carolina with 
modern laboratory, teaching, and computer facilities. A variety of resources to 
support effective teaching will be provided.  Laboratory space and access to 
the student subject pool are also available. The department offers both BA and 
BS degrees as well as a MS in Applied Clinical Psychology. The MS program 
follows the scientist-practitioner model and all graduate students are required 
to complete a research thesis.
