False. In normal use, of course, it is what would happen to any of us if we
got into the ring with a heavyweight boxer. But in British English it can
more rarely mean two other things:

To be extremely tired - e.g., I feel really knocked out after a heavy day
at work

To be bowled over by some event - e.g., I was knocked out by that film

I see that my Chambers dictionary describes both these other uses of
"knocked out" as slang.
