Hey, Miguel --

Susan Blackmore's _Consciousness_ is a survey of all manner of
consciousness studies; I'd recommend having a copy handy, if for no
other reason that the references she's got in it. There are a number of
chapters specifically spent on altered states (drugs, meditation, and
like that), aside from some generally useful stuff on the current state
of how we talk about consciousness.

Hi everyone, I wonder if any of you can recommend a short book or
scholarly article that reviews the various altered states of
conciousness (e.g., drug-induced, hypnotically-induced). I am familiar
with Tart's work, but I wonder if there is something more concise out
there that I don't know about.

Thanks in advance.

Miguel
