One interesting aspect of Jeremiah Wright is how his youthful energy pops up in
his delivery of speeches..It has been said that black folks do not show their
age and although that might refer to the physiological aspects, there is also
the possibility that those energizing developmental characteristics manifest
themselves in various forms with some blacks
When we look at black comedians and other artists there seems to be a prolonged
creative activity that never seem to grow old.Jeremiah Wright performane on
stage
with his oratorical and dramatic skills and his passionate admonitions to be
aware of ideas that demean the black cognitive experience seem to re-emphasize
the need for a continued self-awareness and racial consciousness His
reinforcement seems to come through an ecclesiastical social support network
that motivates his enduring sense of efficacy and competence.
It is as if those type of minds never retire. I am thinking that Billy Graham
had a cognitive cerebralized approach whereas Jeremiah Wright appeals to all
aspects of
the black historical and present experiences and concerns.
