I think I would list the positive psych problems and be just as skeptical there. Yes, positive psych should favor more empirical bases for their efforts, but I am not sure that the historical and cultural foundations of such movements--positive thinking and positive psych are that far apart. Both tend to get carried away with causal inferences from correlational studies. Gary
