Recently I posted a list of differences between positive thinking and
positive psychology.  That list morphed into 14 things about self help
books that I thought would really bother the scientifically-minded
(outrageous claims, reliance on testimonials, blaming the victim,
synchronicity, mis-representing psychology, etc.).  If you're teaching
critical thinking this episode might be of interest.  It could also fit
