Gary- As to the good folk on TIPS, I wouldn't go there. :) On the other hand, 
perhaps there's a research idea here. One could, for ex, compare the 
"intelligence" of the 6pm news to that at 11pm. (Of course, that's complicated 
by the fact that much of the 11PM news is tape from the 6PM news which is taken 
from the internet at 3PM, etc. etc.) Sad really.

I wonder what kind of evidence established this idea?  Given the vague 
definitions and criteria, I wonder if we might have some illusory correlation 
in all this?  Is there reliable evidence for "sundowning"?  Maybe we have an
