Regarding the issue of dementia, one only has to hear his last
presentation at APA days before his death to appreciate that Skinner was
mentally functioning extremely well.  However, he (as many of us on this
list!) did begin having memory issues about minor details.  One of his
most favorably received presentations at APA was on the topic on
compensation strategies for all of us to adapt to provide us with
additional "cues" so we will remember what we don't want to forget.
