I've found a free converter program that I like even better than zamzar.com -- the link is below. It converts any video format to another format. For Youtube videos you simply hit the "youtube" button on the menu bar and then paste in the url for the video you want to convert and select the format. I discovered it when I was looking for a way to preview video clips on my ipod. It's great.
