Except fictionally. In the little gem of a film, La Grande Seduction (English title: Seducing Dr. Lewis), the inhabitants of a small, isolated, impoverished Quebec community (filmed at Harrington Harbour, Quebec) try to attract a much-needed doctor from big-city Montreal. Learning that he is a cricket enthusiast, they construct a cricket pitch. When he arrives by small open boat, they greet him dressed up in what they believe are cricket- appropriate clothes and engage vigorously in a pretend game of cricket. Complications ensue. http://litmed.med.nyu.edu/Annotation?action=view&annid=10189 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FbyiPs53nJw [trailer] Stephen ----------------------------------------------------------------- Stephen L.
