Drury University is proud to invite applications for the inaugural Victor M. Agruso Chair in Behavioral Sciences. Named in honor of the distinguished founding Chair of the department, the Agruso Chair will provide leadership for a dynamic interdisciplinary department of nine full-time tenure-track faculty members offering undergraduate majors in psychology, criminology, criminal justice, and sociology. It also offers an M.A./M.S. in Criminology/Criminal Justice. Drury University has 4,500 students including 1,550 full-time traditional students and 400 graduate students. Drury is a member of the Associated New American Colleges. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in psychology or appropriate discipline, an established record of scholarship and commitment to meaningful faculty development and mentoring. A background in neuroscience, statistics, and research methods is also desirable. The successful candidate will have opportunities for teaching at both undergraduate and graduate levels.
