My favorite quoute from the NY Times article: "Bankers Believe Liquidation Now Has Run Its Course and Advise Purchases"
http://www.nytimes.com/learning/general/onthisday/big/1029.html#article This and other tales of "irrational exuberance" (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Irrational_exuberance ) can be "profitably" used in courses when covering the application of optimistic coping styles under conditions of limited knowledge of how terrible the environment has and will become. Y'know, like our current times. It may also be helpful to people who teach courses in "Postive Psychology" from a contrarian perspective. ;-) -Mike Palij New York University [EMAIL PROTECTED] --- To make changes to your subscription contact: Bill Southerly ([EMAIL PROTECTED])
