Assistant Professor of Psychology
 

 St. Ambrose University, Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Psychology. 
Applicants should have earned Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA approved graduate 
program by August, 2009. Preference will be given to applicants who can teach 
at least two of the following courses: Child Development, Child 
Psychopathology, Statistics, or Brain and Behavior. The Department currently 
has six full time professors and over 150 undergraduate majors. Typical 
teaching load will include Introductory Psychology, Research Methods, and 
courses related to the faculty member’s specialty area. Successful candidates 
will have firm commitment to excellent teaching and interest in mentoring 
student research in area of expertise. The University has a childcare center 
that serves as a developmental laboratory.  The position is contingent on 
funding approval.  Review of applications will begin December 15, 2008, and 
continue until the position is filled.  Submit cover letter, curriculum vitae,
