I have noted that most studies of observational learning are within a visual
paradugm- visually focusing on television or others. There may be a few
instances of auditory impact and emulations as in the case of Milgram's shock
experiences or paradigm that involves verbal responses. Are visual stimuli more
easily modeled than auditory
stimuli? And which one may have greater impact? Judging from the karaoke bars I
have attended,I am more skeptical of the auditory modality. The prank played on
Sarah Palin by those two Canadian disc jockeys pretending to be the French
president Sacorsy (sp) was remarkable.
