"And for those celebrating "Festivus" on December 23, only
two more days! I expect there will be a vigorous "Airing of
Grievances" and intellectual "Feats of Strength" on TiPS!
I hope that all Tipsters spend the appropriate time decorating
their Festivus Pole! I eagerly await Tipsters accounts of their
Festivus Miracles!"

Here is southwest Idaho, the Festivus Pole blew over earlier this morning in
the snow storm!! ;) Right now there is a snow funnel blowing around in the
front yard (a mini-snownado). I've already shoveled once this morning but can't
see the sidewalk or driveway! Snowing way too hard to get dark here! But we
have it pretty light except for the wind. We have friends in Spokane who called
this morning to say they weren't coming down for a visit tomorrow as they can't
get to their car (which is a huge lump of snow right now)! Luckily, we finished
our Christmas shopping yesterday and attended our last faculty party last night
as the storm started here. Hope you are all having a pleasant, warm, and dry
Solstice!
