I grew up in northern Wisconsin and I have many photos from when I was very young and out in a snowbank somewhere. You could hardly move in those snowsuits - modern snow gear is much warmer and more comfortable. I just got back from a northern trip to the below zero land. Didn't even need my warmest coat!
