Good example about vitamin C for colds Sue. Which reminds me: hasn't the product "Airborne" been shown to not be effective? What a big deal that was a year or two ago.

I do want to use an obvious so-called "treatment" so I can take a look at how it could be tested using various research methodologies. The next step would be for students to come up with another treatment and suggest how these methodologies might be used to test its effectiveness.

As usual, I started putting these ideas together into a concept map and the map is beginning to get a bit too large (it's out of control!!). Here's the link to the map (feedback welcome).
