I'll offer my anecdotal information. One of my brothers walked in his sleep and also experienced night terror dreams. It was darned difficult to wake him up from these (and we did try to do so when he was having a night terror - it was how we "rescued" him from these). Sometimes you do need to intervene - I still laugh a bit about the episode when he got disoriented spatially in his journey and I found him preparing to pee on the kitchen wall! I don't think I woke him up right away, then - he was just walking in his sleep. I just redirected him into the bathroom and saved us from a mess. :-)
40 years later, he is just fine (and grown out of these episodes) Claudia Stanny --- To make changes to your subscription contact: Bill Southerly ([email protected])
