It is funny you say that because in recent years all of the Canadian 
banks have been desperately trying to cover up the fact that they are 
Canadian in order to better appeal to international (read: American) 
markets. The Royal Bank of Canada goes almost exclusively by RBC now. 
Toronto-Dominion by TD. Bank of Montreal tried MBanx for a while, then 
BMO. Canadian Imperial Bank of Commerce is always CIBC now. And the Bank 
of Nova Scotia changed to ScotiaBank, which makes it sound like it's 
from Scotland to those with even a bit of Latin (then again, most 
everyone in Nova Scotia did once come from Scotland). :-)
