As the PhD DJ dude on Tips, the effects of dancing on aging variables should
not be undervalued.Never mind the questionable correlations but personal
reports would attest to the social, emotional, and cognitive effects on the human
brain.Periopheral induced activities such as dancing affect brain
functioning. It would be unethical to deny actitivities to the elderly just to
seek controlled experimental results. But there is evidence that the controlled
rhythmically movements of some dances like the tango have assisted some elderly
to manage
Parkinson's. Btw,I seem to be getting lots of gigs during this economic crisis.
