Yes. And I can't believe that I'm about to get sucked in to tell you what
I'm going to tell. But the opportunity to kvell cannot be denied.
I experienced Canada's public health system last week for elective
surgery, including general anesthesia. True, my doctor told me I'd wait
about 2 months, and it turned out to be four.
But once I got the call, things moved right along. I was in at 9 am, out
by 4 pm. No death, no complications; a week later I was playing tennis.

Total cost: $3.50 (They dinged my wife for parking). Should I complain?
