As you start to build your list of books for the summer, I just finished one I highly recommend. It is _Home_ by Marilynne Robinson. I am a big fan of fiction, especially novels that are of a particular genre (I don't know what the name for the genre is, other than they are almost epics, usually involve someone's epiphany of some sort about life, a certain degree of pathos, and they usually make me cry--along the lines of _Water for Elephants, if you've read that). I'm still sniffling over this one. I had the opportunity to hear the author speak the other night and I'm kicking myself for not attending--I'll probably regret it for a long time to come. _Home_ is a beautiful book. I'd love to hearothers' recommendations.
