I do not think that there is anything new here.But looking for genetic
markers and ignoring group cohesion through cultural linguistic and social
factors is not warranted.It is more likely to be an interaction of
opportunistic genes and culture.It is unfortunate that most discussions re
African descent focuses primarily on the African diaspora in the U.S
when there are pockets of Africans in Bolivia,Paraguay,Peru and Ecuador who
continue to exist with their own linguistic forms.Surinam is a good example
where the younger Aficans actually invented a new language.
