If there is one theme that runs across many posts it is the idea of certainty
and self-assurance sought for the justification of methods and conclusions
about some degree of scientific correctness. However we fail to understand that
"uncertainty" is really the mark of a critical thinker. The problem in trying to
get
a consensus (usually Eurocentric) is that it can sometimes leadto partial
learning and partial learning can be a dangerous thing. However tolerating
"uncertainty" is actually one habit of mind that leads the brain to new
paradigms.
