If anyone is looking for some quick interesting summer reading you
might want to check out "Neuro Web Design". It sounds like it's a
book about designing web sites but it's really about how web sites
(like Amazon) influence us to buy. The book is short - an easy and
interesting summer read. The author ties in a little brain anatomy
and a little social influence. Pretty interesting I think. Here's an
interview I conducted with her:

Alive, yes- Grading papers, doing yard work and taking care of an
ill kitty. (Wait- does any of that really qualify as "alive"?) :)
