Our department is about to undergo a comprehensive 10-year review next
year, and we are eager to develop a pool of potential external
reviewers. Ideally, we'd like someone (a) with experience doing external
reviews, (b) from a well-regarded liberal arts college with faculty who
are professionally productive teacher-scholars, and (c) of about our
size (we have 6 faculty members representing the areas of social, animal
behavior, cognitive/developmental, neuroscience, human factors, and
clinical/personality). Someone from the Associated Colleges of the South
would be a plus (but is not mandatory). We're especially interested in
reviewers with excellent vision and/or who come from
innovative/forward-thinking departments or universities. If any of you
have had positive experiences with reviewers or can make a
recommendation, we'd really appreciate it!
