If there are examples of Eurocentric Cognitive Imperialism,Eurocentric agenda,and the Eurocentric consensus-which I periodically accuse tipsters of subscribing to,then the attacks on Supreme court justice designee Sonia Sotomayor are excellent examples.Sotomayor pointed out that her experiences as a latina woman would help make better judgments than any white man who has not gone through that similar experience. She is wrongly accused by some whites of being a racist.Personally I concur with her opinion .The framework of Eurocentric cognitive imperialism is the idea that objectivity excludes emotional factors when in reality emotion and experience are in the mix whenever evaluative judgenent is required.Just curious as to how many tipsters would admit that grading on their teacher evaluations by students are oblective?
