Not that I know anything about him (which never stopped me), but based on 
a recent review of his new book "The Evolution of God" in the NY Times, 
perhaps Robert Wright would qualify.  Wikipedia describes him as a 
journalist and writer of books on evolutionary psychology.

But perhaps he's neither important enough or enough of a psychologist to 
make the cut.
