I hope that you are enjoying a great summer.
I would like to personally invite those of you attending the APA
convention in Toronto to join Psychology Teacher Eileen McKenna and myself
for a two hour edition of *Games To Explain Human Factors: Come,
Participate, Learn & Have
Fun!!!*<http://sites.google.com/site/gamestoexplain/>on Friday Morning
from 8:00 AM to 9:50 AM (session 2030 in the Metro Toronto
Convention Centre, North Building, Level 200, Meeting Rooms 201 E and F).
If you are bringing students and/or family members with you, I would be
honored to have them attend this session. Please do let me know who will be
coming ([email protected].) This session is designed for you,
the college and high school psychology teacher to provide you with an
introduction to human factors as well as over 25 classroom activities.
While the session is early in the morning, it will be highly beneficial,
perhaps the most interactive of any APA session you will be attending and
fun. A great way to wake up on Friday morning!!!
If you are not able to attend this session and would like to receive
a copy of the 2009 edition of the 146 page presentation with a built in
instructor's manual please send me a note ([email protected])
containing your name, school name, school address, school phone, subjects
taught and an email address which can accept files of about 5 meg. (The
2009 edition contains a new activity and about 15-20 new photos as compared
with the 2008 edition.)
If you would like to have the *Games* presentation presented at your
school, college or university, I would be pleased to help out.
