Hi Annette, If you want to order the woot brain map t-shirt, you still can:
http://shirt.woot.com/Friends.aspx?k=9244 only problem is, after a t-shirt is offered on that day, the price goes up to $15. But if you love it, it might still be worth it to get a better-fitting one. Another site for great psychology t-shirts is zazzle: http://www.zazzle.com/psychology+gifts their shirts are usually the Hanes higher-quality shirts, similar to what we have gotten the past few years at the AP readings. Sizing is not an issue: whatever size you usually wear will match 99.99% of the zazzle shirts. If you recognize me from the AP Readings, most of my more interesting psychology shirts I wear there have come from zazzle. Julie Julie A. However, NOTE THAT THESE SHIRTS RUN RIDICULOUS SMALL. I now have a women's medium (should fit a normal 8-year old) for the popstickle shirt (the classic visual illusion of the impossible two/three pronged item, in this case a dual popsicle stick, hence the 'popstickle'). And a have a VERY tight fitting (especially in the bust line-- what they made these for prepubescent 'women'?) "large" women's brain shirt. These two came out in quick succession and so I was stuck with making a decision before the first one arrived, which would have cued me to go larger, not smaller, on the second one :( I was hoping to wear these in class on the particular days I will teach these topics in class this year but I'm afraid not. Well, I might s-q-e-e-z-e myself into the large brain shirt, but honestly, an almost 60-year old woman squeezed into a small t-shirt can look ridiculous; a colleague suggested a wear a jacket so only the brain (which gets rather stretched sideways as it lies right at bust level) will show. In fact, I don't think I can give them away as prizes in class :( They will be too small for most students even. So sad.... So I still plan to get appropriate shirts, but beware: ORDER AT LEAST TWO SIZES LARGER than you might otherwise. I'm going to try women's extra large next, and if that's too small, go to a men's large. Which will probably be way way too big. Sigh. They do not do exchanges. And you cannot go back and order another, larger one, as you can only get them on the day they are released.
