Almost all the cal state schools offer a generic MA in research (or called 
experimental; although it need not be experimental and can be any research 
method) in psychology. Well, sort of generic, I mean you do have to work under 
someone's guidance and often times that means doing research in that person's 
field, very much like for a phd program.
