Police interviews of witnesses leave much to be desired.The police is constantly interrupting the testimony of witnesses.I remembered watching a video where subjects saw a standard police interview and a cognitive interview.The cognitive interview yielded more accurate information comared to the standard police interviews where police kept on interrupting. If you listen to the tapes which have been released re the Gates affair,it becomes apparent that the Cambridge police staff should be compelled to take Interview 101 from Harvard.
