I like to use Teaching of Psych--if you have access--for several reasons:
1.) Generally great model of APA Style.
2.) Many topics of direct interest to students in terms of pedagogy. (My
students LOVED reading in class the article on passing out chocolates during
course evaluations and getting higher evaluations as a result :) so even after
reading that I went ahead and passed out chocolates on course evaluation day
and they got a kick out of it--hope it helped the course evaluations! Another
good one was an 3-page article on allowing an index card during exams--the
study found it made no difference. I allow an index card to be brought in and
students want a replication to see if it's correct that it doesn't help because
they think it does.)
3.) Some articles are very short so easily read and discussed in a 1-1/2 time
block (I tend teach research methods in the T/Th time block so we have more
time).
4.) Wide variety of methods so students have good models.

Another good source is Eye on Psi Chi but I don't know if those articles are
readily available online either.
