I don't find this surprising coming from Horowitz (I haven't read anything he's written I would call "grounded in the real world" in years); what I find very troubling is how many other people believe this crap.
There are a lot of them out there who really think that Obama is some sort of crypto-fascist-Muslim Destroyer-of-all-that-is-Holy. It's freaky how whacky motivated belief can get... Scary. m -- Marc Carter, PhD Associate Professor and Chair Department of Psychology College of Arts & Sciences Baker University -- ________________________________ From: Christopher D. What you may not know is that he is now blaming Barack Obama (and "the left" generally) for the mass murder at Fort Hood. He writes: "The fifth column [of "collaborators with America's enemies"] formed out of the unholy alliance between radical Islam and the American left is now entrenched in the White House and throughout our government." http://newsrealblog.com/2009/11/06/our-brain-dead-country/ Just in case you thought he might be a reasonable person with whom we should open a dialog.
