Subject: [tips] If Hermann Ebbinghaus Twittered
Any finally, because it's Friday and my brain is burnt out, here's what I
believe Ebbinghaus might have tweeted:
Psychology has a long past, but only a short history.
Of course, he would have wanted to make sure that the tweet was found if
anyone searched twitter for anything relating to psychology, so he would
have had to add this: #psychology
Also, he would have wanted anyone who follows either a) memory, b)
nonsense syllables, c) his work on the forgetting curve, or even the
topic of the history of psychology to find his quote, he would have
added something like: #histofpsych #memory #nonsense #forgetcurve
And he would have wanted to make sure that his colleagues William James,
and Edward Titchener saw the tweet, so he would have had to add: @wjames
and @titch
And since he was so enamored with the work of Fechner, he would have
added: @gfech
So his tweet would actually have looked something like this:
#psychology #memory #nonsense #forgetcurve #histofpsych @wjames @titch
@gfech Psyc has long past, but shrt hstry.
And his twitter name might have been: "memoryguy"
Well, used up my posts for the day - have a good weekend everyone!
Michael
