Forensic Psychology

I have an excellent student interested in Graduate study in Forensic 
Psychology.  She noted that there are very few programs in the APA grad 
school handbook specializing in that field (in the index).  

What is the "typical" and/or most constructive route toward such a degree?  

How should I advise her?  

Are their resources available to allow her to evaluate training programs in 
this area?

She is a very strong prospect.  Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
