Hi all- our dept also has generated a list of objectives for intro
psych- which I have posted to my web site. If you go to ASU homepage,
then site index, "education", then "psychology" then "faculty", then
"Karen Yanowitz"- go to my intro page and its under core objectives.
(takes much longer to type directions than it will actually take you
to find them!) Right now the objectives are very closely tied to
Zimbardo's and Gerrig's book. Next semester we are working on more
general objectives, as each perso who teaches intro will select their
own book. We also give a common final exam based on these objectives-
I'm curious if other depts do the same. Hope this helps- Karen
