Hi ! Just arrived home from enjoying Spring break along the Gulf Coast of Florida, and trying to catch up on what I missed on TIPS. . . In my stack of mail was the schedule of events for the 1999 - American Association for Higher Education, Assessment Conference, "Assessment as Evidence of Learning: Serving Student and Society". Didn't see this in Karen Ford's summary list, so thought I'd pass the info along. June 13-16 are the dates and Denver, CO the place. I will be there with colleagues to give a (humble) presentation on our (humble) efforts to assess critical thinking at WCCCD. . . This will be the first time I have attended such a meeting, but it looks like a diverse and strong program on the use of assessment to improve and monitor student outcomes. The program and additional information is available at: Click here: AAHE: The American Association for Higher Education Sandra ****************************************************************************** * Sandra Nagel Randall, Ph.D. Wayne County Community College District, MI Department of Human and Community Development 22265 Carleton Ave. Southfield, MI 48034 Athabasca University, Alberta, Canada Biopsychology Consultant [EMAIL PROTECTED] Off: 248-948-8162 Fax: 248-948-5090 http://members.aol.com/snrandall ****************************************************************************** *****
