There is a web site called _Recommended Popular Books On Psychology_

The site list about 24 pages of titles with a brief blurb on each
title. I haven't visited the sited in a long time, so I'm not
sure if the address is still accurate.
It is/was maintained by Charles G. Morris, University of Michigan,
Ann Arbor, MI.
More than a few years ago, this topic was discussed on TIPS.
At that time, a list was made available (hard copy only) from
Kathryn K. Rileigh, Pembroke State University, Pembroke, North
Carolina. The list is titled _"Good Reads" in Psychology: An
Annotated Bibliography. It lists a couple of dozen titles.
