Since no one appears to have responded to this, I'll give it a try.
The PPVT sounds like a good bet for assessing verbal IQ in children
with limited verbal behaviour, such as autistic children. 

Our department's copy was purchased from American Guidance Service,
Circle Pines, Minnesota. I expect a web search would turn up
information on the company.
