I will award bonus points for exceptional work on papers or homework
assignments that show good organization, original thought, creative
insight into problems, etc. This is not the same as extra credit points
or work, which I do not emply except in General Psychology. I use a point
system in just about all the classes I teach, so when a student is clearly
deserving of say, 20 out of 20 points, I may occasionally give 22 out of
20--these extra being "bonus points" per the above. Gary
