        You can also add to the benefit side the fact that drinking 8 or more
glasses of water per day is recommended by the American Liver Society--and
that up to 14 glasses per day are recommended in cases where a person has
liver disease, particularly Hepatitis-C (which affects 4,000,000 Americans
and over 500,000,000 people worldwide).
