Ken Higbee and I recently published an article on the 10% myth. The reference is:

Higbee, K.L., & Clay, S. L. (1998). College students' beliefs in the ten-percent
myth. The Journal of Psychology, 132 (5), 469-476.

Hope this is helpful.

Colleagues

I have to give a lecture on myths and interesting items of information in
psychology. I want to include topics such as Do we only use 10% of our brain,
subliminal perception, Freud's alleged euthanasia, etc.

Could you recommend any sources in this regard? Examples will also be
appreciated.

Thanks

Dap Louw
