Southwest Texas State University is now soliciting applications for a
Master of Arts with a Major in Health Psychology to begin in the Fall,
1999. The Masters offers three emphases: Applied Intervention, Brain Injury
Rehabilitation, and Social Applications and Methods. Minimum requirements
for admission are the following:
a bachelor's degree in psychology or a related field
completion of courses in introduction to Psychology, statistics,
research methods, and two biology courses (including at least
one laboratory course)
a 2.75 minimum overall undergraduate GPA in the last 60 hours
a minimum combined verbal/quantitative GRE score of 900
Transcripts from all institutions, GRE scores, the Graduate School
Application, and a $25 application fee should be sent directly to the
