Thank you for posting these materials from META. When I went for my aorta
surgery in March I unsubscribed from everything and didn't have the sense
to save instructions for subscribing to META.
The article is important in another way. It reminds us that had Islamic
scholars not conserved Hellenic science, we might have lost it entirely.
True, Acquinas distorted Aristole, but at least we still have a fair
amount of his work and if we can get back past the Patristics and
Hellenistics who infect our current way of thinking we may even read him
as he wrote for his Hellenic readers.
