Hamilton College. The Department of Psychology invites applications for a
one-year term position at the assistant professor level (PhD preferred),
beginning in late August 1999. The teaching load will be the equivalent of
five courses per year, including the Introductory Psychology course, a
course in Developmental Psychology with laboratory, and courses in the
candidate's specialty area.
Hamilton is a selective liberal arts college located in scenic
upstate New York. Above all, it is an academic community in which
challenging and productive intellectual work is the main focus. The
Department of Psychology, consisting of eight faculty members, has a strong
tradition of excellence in teaching and research.
