Hi all,

Just an FYI:

For those of you interested in the portrayal of neuro/psycho-
pathology in film, I recommend a small (1996?) film called
"Niagra, Niagra" for its treatment of Tourette Syndrome (TS).
Although this fictional film focuses on a young woman whose
particular confluence and severity of symptoms is quite rare
among TS folks (she has compulsive, rage, and severe vocal symptoms), I think it does
a decent job of helping people
understand what it's really like to have TS.

The film has its disturbing moments, and I believe it has
an R rating for violence, sex (not particularly graphic), and
drug use.

I've heard that a more recent "Showtime" original film, called
The Tic Code (starring Morgan Freeman, I believe) is even
better in many ways.
