TIPSters,

I'm thinking of proposing an "Innovative Program" for the Society for
Research in Adolescence meeting in Chicago 2000.

What I'd like to do is have a session on "Teaching Adolescence and Teaching
Adolescents." That is, I'd like to have a few panelists discuss their
approach to teaching a class on adolescence or even just on that phase in
life (if you teach a lifespan course). Then, I'd like to group the audience
participants and have people share their innovative teaching methods for the
various areas of adolescence. Then, each group could report out the
innovative strategies that people use. In a way, we'd be discussing
innovative teaching strategies for a course on adolescence.

However, the deadline for submission is postmarked by July 27, 1999. If you
are interested, contact me ASAP.

Thanks,
