Bob--
>Has anyone actually seen a headless chicken (not just a few of those
>coincidental hops I mentioned)?
Yes--well, actually, it was a rooster. As a child in Nigeria, I watched
one of the houseboys cut off the head of a rooster. The rooster got away
from him and ran around the yard about 5 times before the houseboy was able
to catch it again. What was spooky was the seeming purposiveness of the
rooster's running.
